Mello began meditating at seventeen, more than fifty years ago, long before such practices were common in the West. That early turning inward became the quiet thread running through everything that followed: a sense that beneath the noise of ordinary life, something vast and loving was always present.
For five decades he was an organic market-gardening pioneer, working closely with the land at a time when organic growing was far from the mainstream. Those years of tending soil, season and seed gave his spirituality its distinctive grounding, a reverence for the earth that never left him, even as his path turned toward subtler realms.

Crystal resonance therapy drew Mello back to dedicated spiritual practice, and with it came an unexpected gift: the ability to channel the Higher Self of every client who sat with him. What began as healing work opened into something larger, a clear channel through which higher consciousness could speak.
More than twenty years ago, Mother Mary blessed Mello at her manifestation site in Yankalilla, South Australia. She has presented through him ever since. Alongside Mary, the voices of Mary Magdalene, the Witness, the Higher Self and Divine Love itself have spoken through his transmissions, gathered now into an archive of well over a hundred channelings.
Today Mello's teaching centres on the human light body and the Six Heart Virtues, a practical, embodied pathway he has set down in his book, Awakening the Human Light Body. His conviction is simple and steady: humanity is not falling apart, it is evolving, moving from Homo sapiens, the thinking human, to Homo Luminous, the illuminated human.
Through the Temple of Divine Love, online and in the Northern Rivers of NSW, he gathers a conscious community to walk that path together. They come as fellow travellers, remembering the light they already carry.
